In autumn, a gentle freshness permeates the valley and nature begins to shine. The best time to discover the Engadine.

Nature is preparing for its hibernation. And is therefore particularly active. Chamois and marmots can be observed in the national park, bearded vultures circle around them.

Now is the best time for hiking.

One of many destinations in autumn is the Bergell. Here in Soglio, it's chestnut season. They are collected by families and dried in old granite ovens; the smell of chestnuts permeates the whole valley.

On the move on 400 km single trails and marked routes. A dream for mountain bikers.
